Canterbury Muslim Community Trust was established in 2014 by a group of local Muslims in Christchurch. As a registered New Zealand charity, our purpose is to foster positive relationships between the Canterbury Muslim community and wider society, promote incllusiveness and support within the community, as well as raise awareness of Islamic values and the needs of Muslims in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Barriers in Education for women in New Zealand Survey
In collaboration with Womens Graduate Canterbury, CMCT opened up a survey to find what women across New Zealand felt were the barriers when it came to commence or complete study.
